Cosplay: Decisions, decisions, decisions!

Hello there, hope everyone's doing well! I can't believe it's New Years' Eve already, this year definitely went by fast! :')

Aside from that, I have a bit of a dilemma right now. Good news: I bought my ticket for AnimeNEXT yesterday morning, so I'm officially going! (Thank you Dad for the gift card that helped pay! :*)

I've made some big changes to my cosplay lineup for it. Don't worry, hide is still sticking around! I even bought a pattern last week to use for him! c: It's Friday and Sunday's outfits that are being changed. I already know who I want to be for Friday, but I haven't "officially" announced it yet, even though I've been doing plenty of research for them. As for Sunday, I don't feel like doing Jan anymore and I've narrowed it down to a couple of the simplest cosplays on my list, but I'm not sure who I want to pick...help a girl out? c:

 Here they are:

(I already have Kairi's outfit, I would just need to buy a new wig and hopefully get contacts, but everyone else is also not gonna be too costly to buy and/or make.)

So if you came here from Tumblr or here on Blogger, please please please leave a comment or an ask in my inbox suggesting who I should be. And if you happen to be selling a costume or a wig, anything that can contribute to these, let me know and I'll see if I can work something out with you in the future. Tips would be appreciated as well!

Stay beautiful everyone!

Playing Dress Up at Ross!

Hi guys! I started making this post days ago, but I never got to finish it up (*cough* because I'm a lazy bum who's been busy watching Kuroko's Basketball *cough*). I went shopping with my mom on Friday so we could get some Christmas gifts and as usual, we stopped at Ross a.k.a. one of the best stores EVER!
Shopping time!

I couldn't believe that these sneakers were Nike, they look so different, but in a good way! And they were on clearance too~ But alas, they had to stay on the shelf.

Those pastel nails, though... *-* (I realized after I took the picture that they're supposed to be for different days of the week, haha~)

As usual, I picked up a lot of clothes to try on, so here they are!

Crop Top & Striped Leggings

Crop Top:
I've been going crazy for crop tops lately and this one happened to pop up on the racks! I picked it up because it was a great price ($5.99!) and was made by one of my favorite brands that I see in Ross often, Ambiance Apparel. It fit well and I ended up buying it~ c:

Striped Leggings:
The leggings, though, oh my glob. *-*
They fit like a dream~ Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of money on me at the time and my mom was paying for my stuff, so I put it back and said I would look for it when I go back to Philly.

Dress Shirt and Cross Leggings

Dress Shirt:
I found this in the clearance section for $5.49 and I picked it up because I liked the color and I could do with a few more dress shirts. Naturally, it fits a bit loose if you wear it out, but that was the intended style and I prefer it loose than tight. c:

Cross Leggings:
These fit well too, but lately, I've been getting tired of the cross designs, seeing as how they're showing up everywhere now. They were a spur of the moment thing, by the time I tried them on, I was already planning on putting it back where it belonged.

White Lace Dress

Rating:
TALK ABOUT BEAUTIFUL! I didn't expect this to fit so well and look so good!

Alas...I did not buy it because I have enough dresses and it was about $16.99. (Broke Ally problems.)

Striped Shirt

Rating:
Eh...I don't know why I picked up this shirt...I think it was the bright colors? It was decent, but I didn't like how it fell on my torso. And if you look close, you can see the outline of my bra through it, which is a BIG deal-breaker for me. Big no no.

Floral Shirt

Rating:
Dat shirt tho. *u* I really loved the pattern for this shirt~ I was shocked at the price as I assumed it would have been more than $10, but it was only $5.99! I would have given it five hearts if the waist was more tucked in, the peplum shape just goes away once you put it on.
Peach Peplum Shirt

Rating:
I was, well, disappointed with how this shirt fit. It looked gorgeous on the hanger, but once I put it on...bleh. Looking at it in the mirror, it made me look like bigger around my waist, which wouldn't have been a problem with a darker color, but the peach makes it obvious.

Oh well, can't have everything. Maybe it'll fit somebody a little bigger than me and it'll look beautiful on them~ n_n

Out of all the stuff I tried on, I only bought the crop top and the dress shirt, which together, came up to $11.49. Not bad at all for some good quality clothes~
If none of you have gone to Ross, I suggest that you do, they have everything there, from clothes to household stuff to electronics, for a lowered price. It's pretty much been my family's go-to store and that's where a good number of my clothes are from~

Thanks for reading! Until next time!
